Attorney Profile

Katelyn Busby

Katelyn’s practice principally focuses on individual and class action litigation involving state and federal consumer protection statutes. Katelyn works closely with clients to develop early litigation strategies for each case including all facets of pleading, discovery, motion practice, and appeals. Before joining the Firm, Mrs. Busby was an Attorney at Stern Thomasson LLP and, prior to that, an Attorney with the Arkansas Office of Child Support Enforcement for the 10th Judicial District of Arkansas. She was named Attorney of the Year for the 10th Judicial District (2016 & 2017) by the Volunteer Organization for the Center for Arkansas Legal Services for her service on behalf of low-income clients in need of legal assistance.

In 2017, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson appointed Katelyn to serve on the Board of Directors for the Arkansas Development and Finance Authority (ADFA) and she is now the Chairwoman. The AFDA’s mission is to promote economic growth in the State of Arkansas by providing and supporting financing for affordable housing, agricultural business enterprises, industrial and economic development, capital improvement for state agencies and local governments, higher education funding and related programs, and by promoting better economic policy. She currently serves as AFDA’s Chairperson and chairs its Professional Selection Committee.
